New Accounts and Credit Terms

New accounts are required to pay proforma (money up front) and the easiest and fastest way to process this is via credit card. We do not charge a transaction fee on any credit card payments. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Your card is only charged the day the order is despatched. If you wish to use our 30 day credit facility then a fully completed credit application is required to be completed and approved by Malmar. If approved, we are happy to extend you 30 days credit from date of invoice. Any accounts falling over this may have their credit facility removed, and no further orders will be processed.

Damaged Stock and Cancellations

Even though we package our items very carefully sometimes an item arrives damaged. In this case the damage must be reported within 14 days of delivery of stock and we will instruct you on how to handle this item. We may either replace or credit this item. For smaller pieces (for example magnets) we respectfully ask that simple breakages be fixed in house. If an item is obviously damaged on arrival, please notify us as soon as possible. For changes to an order sent to us please note that once an order has been processed by our warehouse we cannot accept changes to this order. We do not issue credits on stock broken in your store.

Where can I see the products?

All our products are on display at our permanent showroom and at the five Trade Fairs that we exhibit at. Our showroom is conveniently located at 4 Distribution Ave, Ashmore, Gold Coast, QLD 4214 Australia. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. After Hours/Weekend appointments are no problem, just call (07) 5527 8866 or 0419 73 6262, if outside Australia +61 7 5527 8866 to arrange a suitable time.

What is our minimum order?

Our minimum order is $200. However, any order that we accept under $200 will attract a $5 surcharge in addition to freight costs. Note that our prices are wholesale prices and do not include GST.

Where is Malmar located?

Our head office is on the Gold Coast, South-East Queensland, Australia. We are 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise, 35 Minutes from Gold Coast Airport and 45 Minutes from Brisbane Airport. What are my payment options?

We accept Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Direct Deposit (T/T), Visa and MasterCard. Please note that our payment terms are strictly 30 days NETT, from date of invoice. Credit cards may not be used on overdue accounts. We can also process EFTPOS transactions for showroom sales (Chq and Saving accounts). If a cheque is banked and insufficient funds are available a recovery fee will apply.

What, When and Where are the Trade Fairs?

The trade fairs are an excellent place for suppliers (exhibitors) to showcase their new products and display the trends for the following season. Retailers have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of products and select the best from each supplier to help grow their shops. Trade Fairs are managed by two organisations, Reed and GHA (Gift and Homewares Australia). We display our products at all five Reed Gift Fairs. See the trade fair dates for this year.
